Tracery Interiors: Neutral Beauty

I chose these four examples because they feature neutral rooms that are richly textured. Tracery, a national design firm with studios in Rosemary Beach, Florida and Mountain Brook, Alabama, uses different tones of the same colors to create depth and interest. The spaces are pretty, but not precious. They are carefully edited to showcase the beauty of curves - found in staircases, wing chairs, and bathtubs. Many of the light fixtures are somewhat industrial - the glass orbs that appear in the beach house kitchen and the clear pendant hanging in the Gulf Coast laundry room, for example - but their pure shapes add both modernity and delicacy to the homes' cleaning and cooking spaces. In the interiors below, antiques appear youthful, mirrored surfaces and glass add glamour, and metal pendants that look like vintage tubs ground more feminine elements.
