Ms. Lauder's gift is beautiful, but homemade cookies make fun favors, too - whether you wrap them in burlap or pouches made of antique Fortuny fabric. Bulbs or seedlings are party gifts that will grow over time, and beribboned trinkets can serve as both favors and namecards for festive holiday tables.
